Leaving Africa going to London

Good morning bloggers today is a sunny day outside perfect weather for traveling home in. I am sad to leave this amazing place but I have to go home to my regular life so boring compared to the week I have had here lol. I am all packed and ready to get back on the bus to go to Cape Town to catch my flight to London. on the flight to London I was going true by pictures on my laptop and I decided when I got home I was going to make a hardcover photo book I will get my book done at pink daisy designs they do so many cool photo books that is the only place I get them done http://pinkdaisy.ca/ my plane ride is long to London I am going to take a cat nap write more from London.

Ok I landed and now I am sitting at the gate man airports are busy any time of day or night. My plane got delayed because of some ladies purse! I love London it is so pretty here I am going to come back and have a vacation for sure. On the plane to Toronto flying is better than driving for me. It is getting late out talk more from the gate at the Toronto airport. Ok just about to do one more round of plane hopping talk to when I get home. I am I the car going home mom won’t stop asking if I had fun. And I keep saying Africa was so fun!!! Talk to everyone on Nicolette’s big adventure. See ya next time good to me home.

My first day in Africa

After hours of flying from London, England I am finally on vacation in Africa. Cape Town is so nice and cozy, though they should not have called it a town because now it is a city. The people here are so friendly and welcoming my bus ride was very different then a normal bus ride in Canada. The bus was open and colourful. Africa is so open when we were driving to the resort I saw so many elephants it was amazing. I saw little huts where they live every day, it is very humbling. The resort is so beautiful and relaxing surrounded by nature. My bedroom suite is open air and I can see into the wilderness, even elephants. After I got settled I went for dinner then went to bed. The next morning I went for breakfast then on the Kruger safari tour - it was so fun. It was so cool how close we got to the animals and I never imagined that I could do that. I talked to some tourists and they told me that I should go check out the Botanical Gardens. I have always loved any botanical gardens I have seen. The Karoo Desert Botanical Garden was so pretty, the birds are so colourful and all down the 1 km trail there is information about all of the plants, flowers and animals it was very interesting. I went on an elephant ride what a rush! The elephants are trained very well and it was weird to think that they were once wild elephants. I’m having such a fantastic time I can’t believe there are only a few days left. I never want to leave Africa.

Trip to Toronto

After I left Regina, I landed in Toronto in the morning, so I did some sightseeing. I went to the CN tower - it was cool and scary at the same time. When I went to the Calgary tower I thought that was tall, apparently not! I am mostly scared of heights so this was hard for me but worth it - the view was spectacular. The 360 Restaurant was so good the meals are expensive but worth it. I also saw the Science Centre it was much more complex then the Regina one. The science center had so many fun things to do, my favourite thing was to see the underwater movie at the IMAX. When you go through the science centre you do not realize how many things there are to do. I did as much I could in a hour’s time. Next I went to The Toronto zoo. The zoo was so big I did not think in a million years that it was going to be so big. I was so excited that there was a new exhibit with sharks and sting rays, I fed about 4 sting rays it was so cool. When I was little my mom and I fed some but now being older it was better. The zoo for me was my highlight of the trip they told me that there was 5,000 animals, plus exhibits. Because I only had a few hours before I had to go back to my hotel, I only saw a few. I think Toronto is an amazing place, very busy, lucky I got to visit.
